Receipts remain useful
Store selected receipt images alongside the purchases they document. You can then find the record again within the app instead of relying only on the original paper receipt.
Receipts, warranties and repair records — organized on your device.
Privacy PolicyReceiptNest helps keep receipt photographs, purchases, warranties, repair history and spending details together on your Android device. It is provided by TECHMAX PRIVATE LIMITED and designed as a general-purpose organizer. Its main features do not require a personal account, phone number or email address.
Store selected receipt images alongside the purchases they document. You can then find the record again within the app instead of relying only on the original paper receipt.
Pair a product with its warranty provider and date. The information supports warranty tracking and optional reminders when enabled.
Keep details about repairs, costs and notes with the items they relate to. Those entries provide a local record of work associated with a purchase.
Entered prices, dates and categories help the app show spending summaries. These summaries use records you choose to save.
The current version does not request Android internet permission. The app is meant to manage these records locally rather than through a remote account.
The app works with information you enter or media you select. Every recorded detail connects to a function such as finding a receipt, following a warranty, documenting a repair or preparing an export. The current version does not include advertising or analytics.
Product names, categories, prices and purchase dates describe what you bought and when. They support searches, organized records and spending summaries.
Store details, payment-method labels, model numbers and serial numbers can be added by choice. They make individual purchase records more informative.
You may use the device camera app or select an existing picture. ReceiptNest stores the selected image locally with its associated record.
Save providers, expiration dates and preferences for reminders. If alerts are enabled, their schedule is based on the dates and settings already on your device.
PDF reports and ZIP backups can contain your purchase information, images and repair records. You choose when and where these files are created.
Your records begin with information you choose to put into ReceiptNest. The app uses that local information to provide its organizing and reporting features. Sharing happens when you take an action outside the app, such as exporting or sending a file.
Add a purchase, repair detail or preference yourself. When a receipt image is needed, choose an image or use your device camera application.
App records and selected receipt photos are stored in Android app-private storage. The developer does not operate an online account or remote database for those saved records.
Search the information, follow a warranty or view a spending summary. Optional local reminders use your saved warranty dates and preferences.
You can create PDF reports or ZIP backups through the document picker. A separate provider, recipient or app may handle any file you choose to send or upload.
Change or delete stored records in the app, or clear its data through Android settings. Exported copies remain separate and require their own deletion.
Offline operation, local storage and user-initiated exports are central to this version of ReceiptNest. The distinction between data saved inside the app and files moved outside it matters. These details describe what the current application does and does not do.
You can use the main functions without creating an account. Your name, email address and phone number are not required for core use.
The current release has no advertising, analytics, online tracking, cloud sync or remote database services. It also does not request Android internet permission.
The app accesses an image that you choose or uses your device camera app. It does not require unrestricted photo-library access for these operations.
Warranty alerts may require notification permission. Their timing can be affected by device restart, Android battery management and notification restrictions.
ZIP backups are not password-protected or encrypted by ReceiptNest. A report or backup stored elsewhere may have different protections.
External camera, document, email and sharing services can handle information when you choose to use them. Their privacy practices may apply to those interactions.
You can decide which purchase details and receipt images to save, whether to use warranty notifications and when to make an export. The app provides ways to edit and delete records. Android settings offer additional controls over app data and notifications.
Only add the purchase information, notes and photos that you want the app to organize. Selecting media and documents is an action you initiate.
Turn warranty reminders off in the app settings. Android also allows you to change the notification permission for the application.
Update or delete saved receipts and related entries using ReceiptNest features. Your records remain locally saved until removed or app data is cleared.
You can clear app data through Android settings or uninstall ReceiptNest. This may permanently erase local information if no separate backup exists.
Deleting an in-app record does not delete reports, ZIP files or copies you already shared. Remove those independently, or request deletion from a recipient when appropriate.
The policy provides a support email for questions about information handling. If you email the publisher, your message and address are received through email services.
Android app-private storage helps limit direct access to saved records from other applications. But no device or storage approach offers a guarantee of perfect security. The app policy therefore distinguishes between its own local records and the exports that you choose to save elsewhere.
A device screen lock adds an important layer of everyday protection. This is particularly relevant when purchase records contain product or payment-related details.
ZIP exports are not encrypted or protected by a password within the app. Save them in a location you trust and share them carefully.
PDF reports and ZIP backups outside the app can remain even after you uninstall it. Those copies have to be managed where they were saved.
An external camera, file provider or email app has its own handling practices. Review those practices when you decide to use a service.
The publisher says the policy may change if app behavior or data practices change. A revised policy should carry an updated revision date.
Read the original policy for the details on local storage, selected media, optional alerts, exports and deletion.
